G'day Guys

 

Having some problems with a few things, i require a set of push rods to suit a solid cam overhead rocker assembly, to measure upto around 190 to 200mm.

- Basically the same style as that of an old 4K.

 

If anyone knows of any pushrods around this length, i would be reallllly interested to hear from you, as ill get onto hunting a set down.

I just checked some 3T-c ones i have.. overall length is: EX-215mm IN-170mm

i think 3T ones will be the wrong diameter.

What motor is it out of or needed??

 

Is this length the same as dished piston 4K items?

 

Also Crow Cams make custom chrome molly push rods to suit your needs so ring them :dance:

 

I also got some 4K ones shortened once with datto tops weld on at my engine builders place worked awesome on the aplication it was for so can also cut and weld but that pends the abuse they will see.

4KU ones are too short. They are 180 ish.

Then I take it 4K-C ones are right lenght but to weak? or are they to long?

 

As I run 4k-C push rods in my dished piston motor :dance: there is a small trick to doing it.

Nup. I need pushrods that are 190 to 200mm long. 4k ones being around 180 are simply too short.

Matt I will have a look at what we have at work, We have alot of pushrods in boxes, There might be something out of a Triumph that you might be able to use :dance:

Matt if it is any help I have found some info but I don't know how thick the 4k pushrods are:

 

Chevy - Big Block (396-454) are 3/8" in diameter, Have a wall thickness of 0.080" and are 196.21mm long.

 

Chevy - Small Block are 3/8" in diameter, Have a wall thickness of 0.080" and are 198.11mm long.

ive got a 250 cross-flow out of an xd out the back.

I can measure them if you want??
