March 23, 200917 yr comment_330234 actually these sockets I'm talking bout arent standard 12 points, they are a weird design that really does work, they have a sort of square-ish point instead of triangle and they grip the bolt like its welded on.. i agree with using an impact driver, just don't use cheap one Yeah, Metrinch is different to a 12-point, they're more like a 6-point just they grip the flats, not the points (they only have the same number of starting points as a 6-point too) Report
March 23, 200917 yr comment_330373 Irwin Bolt Extractor for the win if the head is rounded off http://www.irwin.com/irwin/consumer/jhtml/...IrwinProd100512 Metrinch is good but not that good - not good for tight areas and i've had them slip off and also start rounding off heads Report
March 23, 200917 yr comment_330389 heaps of crc, the biggest bar plus spare exhuast u can find, and someone to push down on the bar so the socket doesnts lip off the bolt. if the bolt is rounded try useing the socket a size down and hit it on with a hammer then use said method Report
