As the topic description states, I have a fantastic KE30 clock, and as they hardly ever work well

I was wondering if anyone knew of a replacement. From a different car, A 2 dollar shop they have found one in?

Oh yea, i would like it to look like its suposed to be there :(

 

Or a way to make it work well, would be good?

Personally the clocks never work. I'd replace them with a nice tacho.

You could always take it to a jewellery shop and ask for a quote for how much to fix it, don't think it should cost you too much

I replaced my Taco with a clock :(

Then figured out it doesnt work too well.

I want a clock though.

Might go down to 2dolla shop to find one to jam in the hole :)

I have repaired a few car clocks, they usually have dirt ect slowing / jamming them. blow them out with compressed air.

Replace it with a nice VDO item.

 

I picked up one out of a 5 series BMW at pickapart. Volvo's sometimes have them.

 

Otherwise they go pretty cheaply on ebay.

 

After hearing this, I wonder if the KE30 item that fell in my bag at the wreckers recently works.

 

But what I really hope is the TE27 item I have coming works :(

Oh yea, might give it a good blow(no dirty jokes please) and if its still crappy, sure it will be, go to wreckers and have a scrounge :(

I got some VDO gauges orded in from Dad's work, i suggested he should order a clock too....I got laught at

Why not set up a clock on your head unit??

My clock works fine. Always has and I hope always will. Planning on replacing it with a tacho though and making a little digital clock to go into the ashtray face.

clock i took out my 55 never failed. worked brilliant, spare dash i had the clock was shit due to a leaky capacitor!

As half the time i would look at it it wouldnt even be ticking. then latley i had noticed it was allways ticking, so I set the time, and it has staid correct for 24hrs:D...bet it wont work now i said that.

my clock don't work too. i want to pull it out but don't wana brake it like i do most things and figure out later oh u had to do this n that with clips ect sorry guys new to rollas any info is appriciated
