You can always buy rubber seals that don't need the locking strip.

 

to late now mate i bought the original one as u can see in the pics.

 

anyway il buy the lock striping don't worry

 

OK QUESTION: i realise the stud pattern is 4 x 114.3 PCD but what is the stock offset +10 ????

painting the same color is always easiest as you don't need to do all the door insides etc. the locking strip is also available in black if your on a budget.

 

thats what i am thinking lot easier painting it yellow again bets hell out of doing all door jams and that.

 

Lock striping in black as well really and cheaper ah thats awsome news thanks mate il check it out for sure if rare spares doesnt have it who else should i try?

OK guys bit of an update i got the lock striping but realised i only have 3 of the original coners the other was broken when windscreen came out dooh!!!

 

anyway i got go back to rear spares and show them the corners i do have so they can match them up.

 

on a lighter note i will be getting Rolla club stickers soon thanks JIP :wink:

 

also i may have a suprise upgrade of driveline on the way lol after asking heaps of questions one here and doing my research

Go with whatever colour you like best mate! But keeping to canary yellow might be easier and cheaper as you might get away with leaving the engine bay and door jams etc. Great to see progress being made keep it up!

My rolla stickers are now on :lol:

 

Also i got the lock striping for the seal just havent got around to getting the corner bits been lazy the striping was new too from rare spares can't wait to get the 4 corner bits so can finally get it ova and done with so far this windscreen already ows me $300 bux now i need the corners shouldnt b to much tho

Hi guys i been a bit lazy in updating my own ride been to busy checking out everyone elses

 

well basically spent bit of dosh on the old girl

 

had bit of dramas with the ke30 managed to crack the distributor burn out one the leads which caused it back fire and run on 3 cylinders which in then through my timing out.

 

Not TO WORRY changed the distributor cap after going to 3 repcos and an auto elec working out what one i had being a ke30 with a 4k motor still runing a older ignition system tho. mini denzo. changed leads fixed the timing. Next day go to drive car going great guns but hear a ratel check it out craked the y piece from the flange.

 

SO I GOT A WHOLE NEW EXHAUST :wink: 1.75 inch with a hot dog and redback high flow muffler sounds awsome

 

also so twat tried to break in must not have tried to hard but broke my locks so put a set of SOLEX LOOKS looking awsome.

 

also got tired of stockies so got a set of meshies of this forum :wink:

 

and set of JDM looking mirrors yet to put them on hopefuly tonight

 

oh also wacked a old cd player i had lying around in worked awsome for a week and died now i don't have no music at all and cbf buying a new deck for it lol (for now)
