making the exhaust on the weekend, bought 2.5 inch stainless and some bends and stuff, should come out good.

Another post from me to help you post pics :y:

What sort of power do you expect from the 3SGTE and how hard would you rate the conversion to do? Just curious :)

  • Author

i want around 200kw at the treads, if not more,

pit of a prick of a conversion, but it suits me,

could have gone sr or something like that, but i didnt really want to,

the gen 3 3sgte is a really underrated engine, comes with forged internals

and ballanced bottom end from the factory, bullet proof, makes good torque nice

and early with a nice curve for both torque and hp, holds revs, doesnt have

dodgey valve setups, and not cross breeding.

watts linkage isnt viable with so little travel,

any benifit you have is thrown away with play in double the amount of bushes,

equal length 4 links with rose joints, decent setting and stuff is more than enough.

as far as i have noticed i have not seen 1 person put in a gen 3, into an 86 ke70 te70 or anything like that, no starlets and stuff,

so as far as I'm concerned gen3 is a world first :bash:
