irokin Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 Finally, his maiden GP victory! Long time coming, hard fought but he absolutely dominated after his drive through. In true Webber style he couldn't settle for doing it the easy way. And just in case anyone forgot how genuinely Aussie he is he drops the F-bomb on live global TV over the team radio. Legend! Now coming 3rd in the championship on 45.5 points behind Vettel (47) and Button (68). http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2009/7/9610.html Quote

sammo[RL] Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 Personally i can't stand the man, but good on him, bout time we had an aussie up there! BTW, he used to work at my work! (Grand Prix Karting, Fyshwick) many years ago! Maybe i'll be an F1 driver too! Quote
7shades Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 Don't get too excited... Most formula one fans wouldn't even know where he's from and will probably assume they spelled "Austria" wrong for his nationality  Quote
coln72 Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 good to hear the aussie anthem played at the presentation Quote
Budowski Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 the guy sounded pretty cheerful while still in the car on the replay  Quote
