muzke30 Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Hi all been wondering how big an actualy ke30 fuel tank is i can get up 45litres in mine just today i filled it and thats most so far i keep pushing it but never know if i can get any more in lol cos still doesnt quiet mark full on the gauage lol Quote
anastasios Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 doesnt the fuel pump stop when its filled? Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 60lt rings a bell. I think it's 50, at least it is for the KE55. 60L might theoretically be possible, but the tank is designed to hold 50L + ullage (no fuel tank is ever completely full when the bowser stops pumping. Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 50l at the most id say I managed to get 47L in and it still didnt read full on the gauge, but i had fuel coming out the fuel cap when it got full :P Quote
JiP Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 (edited) 47Lt in wagons/vans and 50Lt in sedan/coupes. ** I calculated from F to E it was around 40Lts. So I assumed there was 10 from E to empty. Edited August 11, 2009 by JiP Quote

Hiro Protagonist Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 I think it's quite comical that everyone is trusting their fuel gauges in a KE.....mine would never go above 3/4 on an absolute brimming full tank, then after about 100km it would drop to zero and stay there. I know 50L is the full tank size because I've ran out of petrol twice in the KE55, and each time after 5L from a jerry can to get to the nearest servo it took just under 45L to fill completely. Quote
muzke30 Posted August 13, 2009 Author Report Posted August 13, 2009 nah neva trust mine mate have a full jerry in the back but what i do trust is my odometer i get same ks week in week out 10ks per litre if not slightly better so after 450ks from a fill better start looking for a servo kinda thing lol. and yeah i fill mine to brim only goes just above 3quaters then after 100 -150ks starts counting down accurately from there Quote
