z|gen Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 yes, green and pink stickers are defects, such as exhaust - too noisy or not having one, lowering under 100mm - cut springs or no springs are the 2 main ones, but others are, no bonnet etc. to get rid of it, we just need to fix it and then take it into vtnz - vehicle testing nz, and get a new warrant of fitness, then its all legal again :) are rules are very slack compared to yours, engine conversions are dime a dozen, and there is very little rules regarding them. ancullen Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 are rules are very slack compared to yours, engine conversions are dime a dozen, and there is very little rules regarding them. So New Zealand actually does have something going for it? Aside from plenty of loose sheep that is. :) Quote
z|gen Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 hahaha, its nice being able to put whatever engine into whatever car, and just make it safe, like stop within distances etc, and none of this no pod filter or stupid emmissions.. Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 new zealand has lots going for it if you're into cars. cheap and plentiful imports, including old JDM corollas, i've seen many genuine TE37s on nz websites. as well as a for more visible community of car enthusiasts, who seem to have off street drag, race and drift events far more than we do over here i'd move there if it wasn't so friggin cold and your women weren't so rough :) Quote
ancullen Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 But their sheep are sooo soft. :) And yes, I'm just jealous of NZ's great grey import market. Lucky sheep-rooting bastards. Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 my God, there are SO many te3x and te7x cars over here......(we never got a 5 series Quote
z|gen Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 nope..not many te series cars - mostly ke series, and as for genuine te37's hahah thats a joke, they are ke35's and ke25's, we got hundreds of ke70 wagons though, not many sedans but there is a few.. Quote
ancullen Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 I'd be happy if there was just one TE27 in Australia. So long as it was mine that is. :) Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 there is, but it's not :) more here, including some of our cars Quote
ancullen Posted June 5, 2005 Report Posted June 5, 2005 Surely there's more than one in Australia? I would like it if I had the ONLY one. Just to make you all jealous. Ah, sweet fantasy. Quote
