Hey guys, just wanted to ask what carbi this is... as i have no idea. Is it any good? Or could i have something better on there? How much is mine worth?

 

I think my engine mite have abit of head/cam work... as i bought a kinder surprise engine... previous owner had no idea what was done to the car.

looks like a 32/36 dgv weber to me.

Look around the carb base. It should be stamped with the model number.

yep, Falcoon weber.

 

Air filter is doing SFA btw with that hole in the corner. Its supposed to be for the tappet cover breather if you want to hook it up. :jamie:

that is NOT a falcon weber carburettor.

 

that appears to be a DGV off an escort.

 

Falcon weber is a ADM and has a diamond shape top for the air filter to bolt on to, and is much larger internally.

 

should be written on the bottom of the carburettor somewhere, its probably going to say 32/36 DGV on it.

Actually you're half right....

 

It isn't a falcon weber, thinking one thing, typed another. The falcon ones have an oval shaped top not diamond...

yea it is a pretty good carb, i had a holley 180 on my worked 4k which is pretty much a shitter copy of the weber, make sure its tuned right

ahhh now I remember, a 34adm off a falcon has an oval hole on top, the dgv has the square/rectangle stepped hole like your carburettor, and the dhsa2 I had was a diamond shaped hole.
