Hi all.

 

Was thinking about a break up cruise but it never ends up happening. So the next best thing is dinner and drinks somewhere we can all get to.

 

More details will follow but the date will be (ok... so I changed it!) the 18th December. That's a Friday (unless I got it wrong) so a few people will have to work the next day but I'm sure it should be all good?

 

Time will be 6:30 meet at the destination with dinner ordered by 7:30. Will go til we all go home or get kicked out!

 

Let me or dfunkt know what you think.

moving this a day earlier, to a friday night gathering. that's FRIDAY THE 18TH

 

still in the process of arranging a venue.

 

time's will stay the same. start arriving at 6:30pm and order at 7:30pm.

 

should have venue organised by thursday, depending on how my scout goes today and tomorrow.

Hoggies would be a good option, if only for the memprabilia usually thrown 'round the place.

Whats parking like there? I'm assuming it would be in the main shopping centre?

 

Any more suggestions? Might as well ask!

Its in the middle of a huge carpark for Officeworks and Harvey Norman (its the other side of the freeway from Chadstone Shopping Centre)

 

There is also La Fiamma restaurant in a similar location.

 

Or maybe Matthew Flinders Hotel - not sure what its like on Friday night, or any other night for that matter.

 

Or Lazy Moe's on Warrigal Rd Oakleigh. Not a very big car park though.

matthew flinders has made the short list, and i'll be doing the ring around tomorrow to see which one/s can fit us in.

 

did some seaching on google maps to see which ones have off street parking big enough for us too :D

I will be in for this. Be a good chance to catch up with a few faces I'm yet to meet!

i'd be happy to make an appearance... no charge :D

am waiting for responses from several places. have tentatively said 15-20 people.
