March 11, 201016 yr comment_420578 Just wondering if anyone has any tips on removing the (inside) door handle and window winder from a KE10? I am trying to get mine off to pull the door cards off, but they are being pretty stubborn. Don't want to break anything just because I may not know the right trick... Thanks Davros Report
March 11, 201016 yr comment_420589 I just use a tiny flathead screwdriver and practice youre technique to pop the spring out; you'll get good after you've done a few of them Report

March 11, 201016 yr Author comment_420732 Cool, so there is actually a spring in there. Thanks for the info guys. Otherwise I would have just been trying to yank it off, like the old school Valiant ones that just push on. Cheers Davros Report
March 11, 201016 yr comment_420735 Use a strip of cloth/ rag . Slide it between winder and trim. Wiggle it about a bit and the clip should ccme off Report
March 12, 201016 yr comment_420774 Thanks for the info guys. Otherwise I would have just been trying to yank it off, like the old school Valiant ones that just push on. I don't think that most people realise, but these winders actually Push On, they just don't pull off easily. Once you get the spring and winder in your hand, you can fit the Jesus clip into the winder and push it straight onto the shaft and it will lock into place. It's been designed so that it only takes a couple of seconds to assemble it on the production line Report
