This is my Blood Orange Ke55

 

So far she has:

-Been painted orange

-2" lowering blocks

-battery relocated to boot

-17" 5 spoke rims

-No engine

-No glass

-No locks

 

 

The plan is to:

-Get maybe CA18DE engine (havent decided yet)

-Get custom dash made. planning on just flat face dash with speco gauges along it. clean and tidy.

-Getting custom tan interior made with orange trim.

-Street suspension

-Big brake upgrade

 

So far I've just started to clean out the rolla and strip everything i don't want out.

 

Thats the plan so far, let me know what ya think

was wondering the same myself. looks pretty good in the pics.

 

Any rust? chuck a magnet on the bottom of the rear quarter and front, if it don't stick well compared to a door or somewhere you know has no rust/bog then you'll know if its been bogged a lot or not. Might be worth checking before you spend a shitload on a conversion, also have a good poke around with a screw drive on the chassis to see if its rusty ;-)

So just thought id update everyone, the rolla now has glass (complete with RC sticker!) and locks :P

All i need now is some weatherstrips for the doors and she will be water tight.

Still looking for an engine though, if anyone has any suggestions of what i should put in it (with minimal modification to car) please let me know?

mmm starting to take shape :D I have a 5K up here in Brissie but assume its too far.

Another update on the corolla.

Since last update i have bought an engine!!! (thanks rob)

 

Its a twin carby 5K, it was on rollaclub so I'm sure most of you have seen it.

 

I have also found myself a steering wheel and a dash pad.

 

I have started to cut out my door trims and back shelf, they are a light cream colour.

Hey everyone,

so a few things have changed since the last post:

 

-The engine is in (not fun on a dirt road)

-I decided to change the interior colour from chalk to black (unfortunately after i make up the chalk interior)

-I painted the grill

-Got a new radiator

 

 

good progress there mate good to see another 55 on the road soon
