At your age you can count on the 1500 going towards rego and insurance. Or is that budget not including getting it on the road?

Get those photo up and go from there. All depend how much you want to spend.....A polish and some nice wheels (or clean up the steelys) is always a good start. What are you plans for it? Daily or track, stock or mods, paint, low etc?

Some tire places can still get custom steelies done with whatever dia, width and offset you want. steel can look good in my opinion

Okay so the 55 is off the road and the ke30 is finally on....HERE IT IS I'm in Newy/Tamworth/Taree area mostly newy when uni is on

Its all good, went to a radiator place here in town, they can get one form their supplier for 300, so id be guessing the ebay ones are similar if not the same. and recore was gonna cost 275 so that why i just went with getting a new one

Jusat wondering if a later model radiator will fit my KE30. You can get new ones for $298 on ebay but later model radiators are about 100 bucks cheaper. Will any fit, they all seem to have the outlets in the wrong spots but i thought someone might have and insight into this field. any help much appreciated cheers Simon

Cheers, Pulled my alternator apart the other day cause it was getting noisy at, One bearing was prob only minute to hours away form exploding and the other was a little sloppy. So got some newies, gonna stick i back together later on today

Might blow some boost down it, a mates got a turbo off a 1jz he doesnt want anymore. But ive got my eye out for a 5k too which would be nice to get in there. Yeah i got a little on some parts, but i cut and buffed it out...thats why block colours are better for first goes at painting, you can always sand out imperfections. I had a pretty big one, ill check when i go to the shed and let you know.

Cheers fellas, Haha yeah its pretty bumpy and grip on dirt is non existent, the slightest bump on dirt and its side ways...although i found it really easy to control. IT sticks pretty good on tar and corners pretty well, not to much body roll at all. It has Noltec camber/caster tops and stiffer springs in the front and brand new monroe (commy wagon ones)shocks and 2 extra flipped leafs in the back.

So here it is in all its glory Just after some lower springs for the front now, need to be about 1 and a half to 2 inches lower to match the back and might look into window tinting, i think they look nicer with darker windows, plus the practical applications of tint are good (keep sun out...not look like the mafia that is). working full time so havent found mush time to make my new door cards yet either but will get on to them one day. Also tempted to get a 5K if anyone is selling one nearby that isnt to flogged out.

yeah there is actually, I'm back to full time work over my uni holidays so don't get on here to much tiem to post. Its one the road went through bluey first go and has been going pretty well. Ill post some pics in the next few days of it, got some half decent complete pics to show

Also, the no spark problem was in the dizzy, some part that sends the pulse wasnt working anymore (they bloke did tell me ehat it was called but i forgot). Does anyone have an electric dizzy?...ill have a look through the for sale threads later I'm running a points dizzy atm but without a resistor so its getting full 12volts so the point will probs only last half as long. And it was both flash relays that were busted as expected.
