Andy43 Posted July 29, 2010 Report Share Posted July 29, 2010 We ran a standard air filter with the big holes cut in the side of the housing for a year or 2, on both the daily and the track car, just moved to a K&N setup cost about $70 aussie, performance is about the same, but love that sucking sound and the fact I can now clean the filter. rob83ke70 Posted July 29, 2010 Report Share Posted July 29, 2010 oh, I might add that I've got a few other things done to my engine so its hardly stock - cam, compression, elec ignition, thermofan, extractors, exhaust, and it hauls about 8000rpm.
