Don't bother with precious metal plugs in your car.

He is correct at saying they don't make more spark but it takes less resistance for a precious metal to make it, some cars recommend them because of the pain in the ass location of them and others because of the load on the ignition.

for some reason i have always been under the impression that irriduium spark plugs were for turbo cars as a few years ago my mate tried a copper ones in his rb20 and his car kept miss firing and then as soon as he got the irriums it was fine for a quite a while so I'm not sure what was going on there he has just bought irridums from then on and never had a problem i don't think its worth buying them for a standard car non turbo car just get the cheap copper ones as they are about one quarter the price if not less maybe they make a better spark maybe they don't who knows if copper ones work then just use them and as for the puncutation yes please use a bit of punctuation in your posts as it is very difficult to read and generally if i see someone has posted up something and seen they have not put alot of effort into presenting their post then i have to ask myself should i put the effort into my post to give them the information in a presentable fashion or should i just move on its just general courtesy really

Too much boost with a high resistance plug will cause the spark to 'blow' out.

I thought I was pretty good at reading bad punctuation but by the end of this I just couldn't get it. You have taught me something today sir.

No, I am 30.

I like what I read to be easy to read like the language was designed to be.

A great thanks for the help and info guy's( full stop) (Capital A)and the ones that didn(')t help( ,) are you over the age of 40(?) ( Capital B)because you sound very grumpy and old fashioned (capital E)english( ,) and mybe(*maybe) you should get use(d) to it(full stop) ( Capital I)instead of being all punctuate( WTF?) and stuff that we say (WTF) why don't we get to the point to what we are trying to say in our posts( full stop)(Capital A) and i(Capital I) couldn(apostrophe)t care less if your brain hurts(full stop) i(Capital I) may mean your brain has (*to) eventualy (*eventually) started(*ed not necessary) working (full stop)

If I can de-fragment your terrible English I'm pretty sure my brain is working.

You have to realise that the main people you want answers from are older experienced people or people who have been on this forum for a while.

Yes, I myself may not have been as articulate as I could of been at the start.

But you have to realise that if you want quality advice, your questions should at least be able to be read by the people who you want them answered by.

Quality questions will be answered with quality answers.

..... and I pretty much couldn't care less if your thread gets closed, either.

From the forum rules that you have agreed to:

1.5.0 Please read your post before you hit the button. Post as much information as you can so people know what you are on about. Check your spelling, you will be visited by the spelling fairy (pictured below) if you repeatedly ignore requests to fix your spelling. Occasional slip ups are fine, we're not perfect, but at least try and make it look like you passed english. Please try to use punctuation. Even if you don't know exactly how to do it perfectly, try to break up your posts. Its very hard to read one long sentence that spans several lines. Repeat offenders may be warned.

It's a simple courtesy that we ask. And a bit of respect.

:P
