Replace all the remaining steel in the car with wood and you'll instantly stop rust in it's tracks!

 

Yes but if you live in a flood prone area or like to do skids then you have to use drift wood which would suit the op.

The trick is for the rust to make sections of the car fall off at the entry or prior to the apex of the turn. This causes the car to undergo a weight shift, helping with the initiation of the drift. It's all just maths and physics.
