I got the same crap from morons around me !.

I tell em - because.

A. It's cheaper than buying another car.

B. My Corolla will last ANOTHER 24 years (their new S--tbox wont).

C. I recycle. Better for the environment.

D. CAUSE I CAN.

 

I also get the same crap about my Clubsport as well. Pretty much the same answers there too.

 

I've spent nearly $20k on a car that cost me $1200 :lol:

But it will easily last another 42 years... and I prefer it over any other $20k car :)

 

Totally agree with the more environmentally friendly thing to. The environmental impact from making a new car is astronomically higher than the minuscule drop in emissions that new car gives off.

I like the way you think.

I recently spent $4000 on my 82, which is how much I paid for it 3 years ago.

Friends and family said I was mad spending that much on it and I would never get that money back.

If I'd spent $20G on a new car I wasn't going to get that back either. :hmm:
