Son-of-a-bitch!!! That's AWESOME! A mate of mine works with a guy who is right into Minis. He has about 5 Cooper motors laying around, one of which has been taken out to 1430cc (from 1275). He also has a Honda B16 motor and a spare Mini shell, he's just waiting on the conversion kit to arrive from the UK.

i hate working on minis. they are well fun to drive tho. amazing how you can just reef the handbrake on and it does a 180 :n:

just crush it and buy a corolla, much more satisfying :n:

i was actually going to buy a overrated ke55.. but the mini came along and was cheap... Ill still get one soon enough... sure as hell want be putting the mini on dirt... just u wait...

That's when you use a throttle body for each cylinder. You'd still get great induction noise and it'd be relatively easy to tune compared with six side drafts (well you'd think so anyway).

EFI sucks for people such as me who have limited EFI knowledge.... Carby engines are piss easy to work with

Either way I'd just take the car to someone else who knows what they're doing cause I'm in no hurry to fiddle with either carbys or EFI.

I've got a damn Microtech M8 missing it's hand-controller, so if I want to tune it myself, I've got to buy a new hand controller or one of the DASH thingies. I'd much prefer one of the newer models that you can hook into your laptop. Or a Wolf, because they're meant to be the shit.
