Redwarf Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Yep, and they're a good thing. Be nice to the clutch and drivetrain. Boxes aren't the strongest. Quote

Redwarf Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 They wouldn't have built it if they didnt want it to go hard. However, big rev side steps off the line will mean mechanical oblitoration sooner rather than later. Nice bit of kit though. If you look after it, it'll reward you with big smiles. Quote
beerhead Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Cool. I've got a 20,000km old box for one of these if you break it, but most people upgrade to an ST205 box which is fairly much bulletproof and run Porsche style syncro's. Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 Is this the one from Helensvale? Quote
philbey Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Yeh a mate of mine used to have one, good fun car but when it started breaking things it got expensive quickly. Did a radiator hose that meant lifting the engine, that was 1000 bucks gone. Quote
