Hey

I'm not sure whether this is possible on alot of car parts, but I'm interested because I really like the durability of the finish and the look. How cool would it be to have like an anodised panel LOL.

I work with Anodised and Mill finished Aluminium at work and i wouldnt say that it Anodised is very durable. It scratches so bloody easily. |blink| and doesn't look that good on large surface areas.

If you were referring to having parts colour dyed during the anodising process, then that becomes more expensive.

 

But to answer your question, yes it is possible to have anodised panels (if your panels were made from aluminum that is :hug: ) You can't anodise steel as the process involved attacks the steel and causes rust.

Yes, I will agree to that. My redline race-bike is anodised, the thing has faded a fair bit since I got it... still looks good, but I can wait till it turns pink
