to undoe the bolt I just use a shifter, 2 flywheel bolts one upper engine - flywheel bolt.

 

*Put a flywheel bolt through the hanger hole on the shifter into one bolt hole on the crank

* Put another flywheel bolt diagonally across from the first one you put in.

*Spin the shifter around so it's tight and place another bolt into the block up high for it to push on.

 

Like this I find it easier to crack flywheel bolts then when the motors in of the car.

LOL , i love the put the shifter on it and hit the key , funny thing is even though we have all done it , not everyone would admit it......lol.

 

If all else fails , grab your Big F@#$%g Hammer and give the bolt a good belt into the crank , just like your trying to Nail the ballencer on "so to speak" that way if some asshole has used Loctite on a previous job (and I'm guessing they must have) the shock helps to fracture the stuff.

 

Worked for me heaps before , although if its a customers car better to wait until they are'nt around because hammers don't look all that professional.

if you still can't get if off Teddy just bring it over, we have a rattle gun here that doesn't like bolts, it'll get it off no problem.

hammers are plenty professional, and a required tool in a workshop
