February 2, 201115 yr comment_500270 But you have a tacho dash???? ^^ :y: Bit of a tooly thing to do unless you are running 9's down the quarter. Report
February 2, 201115 yr Author comment_500278 i had a gift card for auto 1 and didnt have anything else i needed to get that is all :( next on the list is tyres for those ma61s  Edited February 2, 201115 yr by t18drifts Report
February 2, 201115 yr comment_500302 175's will stretch on a 7" wide wheel. I also think that it is a little easier to look at a tacho there instead of at the dash, obviously if your racing, concentrating where your going and only care about revs not if your going over the speed limit.... Not that I would have one though. Edited February 2, 201115 yr by 19914afc Report
February 3, 201115 yr Author comment_500360 the steering wheel is smaller then the original so it also gets in the way of the speedo and tacho Report
February 3, 201115 yr Author comment_500571 :laff: so its pay day today so what price would i be looking at on 4 175/60/r14 tyres would it be around 400 :hmm: Edited February 3, 201115 yr by t18drifts Report
February 3, 201115 yr comment_500577 I reckon on special no more than 300. But you are in Perth. So probably about 187,00yen. :laff: Best deal I found on my 175 60 13's was 300. But then my 195 50 15's were 400. How much ya got? If your car is legal you could try find some second hand? Report
February 3, 201115 yr Author comment_500583 if u mean legal still regitered :rolls: but if pulled over i would be going home bright yellow stickys .... but i should have a firm 450 also is it hard to get lower then 60 profile 14 inches :hmm: Report
February 3, 201115 yr comment_500592 Probably but it will probably cost you. I think your best bet will be to not spend all your cash on bourbon and go see a tyre shop. Have a talk, don't be a dick. Listen to what they have to say. They will get you good tyres that fit and you'll prob walk out with change. I'm assuming these are for the MA61's. don't tell them how much you have, be cheap. You don't need super sticky race semi slicks!!! Report
February 3, 201115 yr comment_500605 I got R14x7 on my car with Pirelli tyres (185/60) got them from Bob Jane at $110 a corner....some nice stretch..have a look at my build thread if you want pics. Cheers Report
