Alexrx7 Posted January 19, 2011 Author Report Posted January 19, 2011 (Needs another earth strap) by that do you mean another earth line running from the terminals? also anyone know why my clutch line would be heating up from just turning it over? cheeers Quote
swampgarage Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Maybe the clutch line is the only earth is has left. Quote
TRD ke70 Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Another earth lead to the engine from the body, that's why your clutch line is heating up, it's the only earth the engine has!! Quote
jono1986 Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 The clutch line is heating up due to the amount of current used to start the motor. When people say needs a new earth they mean you need to run a better negative cable from the battery to the car body and another one from the body to the block of the motor. Quote
