Teddy Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 Hey all Well, i cannot find which wheels i like best - i know i want 15 / 16", and i don't wanta spend much more than 1200. So... If you were in my situation, and could get ANY RIMS (forget about tyres for now ok) - What would you get? Remember, its gota go on a Ke70 (rear wheel drive :D) - 4 Stud Cheers Teddy Quote
demuire Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 If you do find a set of 15" rims with no tyres, I know someone who is trying to sell a set of tyres to fit for reasonably cheap, I think they are 195/50R15 or something like that. Unfortunately he his p*ssing me off to no end at the moment by selling me a dodgy set of rims and not wanting to give me my money back, so yes, until he does I won't give you his details lest you end up with a dodgy deal too :D Quote
demuire Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 With 205 you'd be wanting 205/50, with 215 you'd be wanting 215/45. Personally I recon 8" rims on a Corolla is maybe a little silly unless you're wanting to build a drag car, cause 8" rims call for big rubber, and big rubber on a little car can be a bit difficult. Xany Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 hiya teddy, this site might interest you. www.modifymycar.com and remember what i said about the 5 spokers, to make mags look bigger on a small car you want something with more spokes. WHOO HOOO......100 posts.....YAY :D :D  Quote

Teddy Posted February 17, 2004 Author Report Posted February 17, 2004 i wonder how much they would cost for a set of 4? Quote
demuire Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 Nah you can get cheapo versions (CSA, BSA etc). Give a wheel shop a visit, pick it out of the catalog and get a proper quote. Quote
Nitephyre Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 spend that $1200 on engine mods instead... :| Quote
