Update time :)

 

So since last time i have wire brushed up all my brakes and painted them metalic charcoal (the same colour as the new rims when i get them) Also finished painting the fuel tank and started wire brushing the diff and giving it a flick with some satin black.

I also got some shiney new gas Bilstein's :D

Found a mad gear knob for her to, but nothing is never easy. Of corse i didnt fit so i had to get a mate to macheine the gear stick down so it would fit, looks trick. Yet to get a leather boot for it. Also while i was in the same shop i found a chrome air cleaner for it to haha, that also was a bee's dick to small. So that had to be cut, welded and all sorts so it fitted :bash: but its all good now :y:

 

And it is now getting close to 4 months that i have been waiting for my rims >| , and the guy said it would only take 3 weeks. Pffft what a joke

Yeah the paint work turned out really nice. Because its 2 pack it doesnt really need polishing, its fine just streight off the gun but because it has a few bits of crap in the paint here and there and a few sweat up marks i have decided to get the detailer to go around and de nib it and then Dad and i are going to block the whole car back so its nice and streight (colour sand). After that the detailer will come back up and buff and polish it all back up :)

Really want to see this thing with your new wheels on it. I like the rolla badge, what did it come from? I might have to steal that idea from you. I might have missed it through all these pages but what springs are you thinking of using? Well done on the build mate, keep it up.

I'm going to use lowered king springs in the rear and I'm putting a coilover sleve kit on the front so whatever springs they come with, havent worked out what pound ones i want yet, most likley soft ones ha
