Just found some pics that Mum took on her camera when Dad and i just got it back from the paint shop and unloaded it into its new home. Our neighbour suggested it would be easier to hook the trailer up to his TRD Hilux and just back it up the driveway instead of towing it up because our driveway is quiet steep as you can see. Turned out it was a good idea, backed it up there with no problems. Good old Toyotas you see :laff:

Cheers buddy  , Yeah i was very pleased with it. Should look even better once the detailer has gone around it and cut and buffed it up :D

Yeah. Same with mine. :) Me and Dad are absolutely hangin' to give mine a Polish, but we have to wait another little while because we painted mine in Acrylic in our Garage, and Acrylic paint takes a fair while to dry and settle properly.

Yours will look really awesome once it's polished. ;)

Yeah its the same with 2 pack, you have to leave it for about a month or so so it settles down and see if any bit of bog srinks back at all and a few bits here and there have started to form a slight line on the edge of where it was repaired, but no problems, wait a bit longer to see if it settles anymore then wet sand it with a block and it disapears pretty easy.

Thanks man, hope yours turns out sweet

Cheers. Yeah, Acrylic has to settle for nearly a year (minimum 8 months), so we'll be polishing mine in January next year. :)

Got stuck into it this weekend, sanded down my radiator support panel and inner guards, masked her up and painted it semi gloss black. Then dad and i got to work putting on a black vinyl strip around the windscreen to cover up the crappy job that toyota did of fitting it :laff: then put the chrome trim back on. Took forever to make a template up for the bottom strip :bash: but got it in the end and it came out really nice.

After that we started to fit the interior back in after getting the dash back from the vinyl repairs. Finished cleaning the carpet then put the underlay back in and went from there.

We also got some chrome bar bolts and fitted the rear bar for good, and i finished painting the boot and fitted the tail lights in :)
