The guards got finished off today then we masked her up and primer filled them. we also painted around the tops of the doors the other day so the overspray didnt go through the door jams and get on to the fresh paint when it gets painted in the oven. if the door jams where masked in the oven then there would be a line left there when the making tape comes of so we decided to make it easier for our painter and paint the tops of the doors, saves trying to cut and buff the over spray off ay.

 

I also did another once round to see if i could find any little imperfections in the body and dad got to work fixing them :y:

My package arrived from the Phillippines this morning at my door at 8:30 :D Was like christmas all over again :laff: So i took it over to my car to test fit them and i couldnt be happier with them, big thanks to Richard (drahcirdestiny) for supplying me with top quality parts, worth every cent :y:

The one thing that annoys me with the quadlight kit on adm cars is the quadlight parklights don't fill the gap properly, they leave like a 3/4" gap

There aint no real gap on mine. Fits pretty sweet actually, i was supprised.

Decided to attack some more parts the other day and cleaned up my dirty carby and manifold. To clean the carby i washed it in the degreaser in the wash bay and then used a bit of carby cleaner in a can and gave it a good scrub to get any greasy bits off that i had missed. With the manifold i cleaned it in the wash bay with the degreaser then lightly wire brushed it to get any marks off and to give it a bit of shine. Then i bolted her on to have a look ha :D
