neil Posted July 5, 2011 Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 This well loved Ke55 blown EFI 5K has the following: Forged dished pistons with gapless rings,stage 4 camtech cam, 4K head ported to 3K bigport size with heavy springs and solid lifers. The block has also been o-ringed. The fuel system consists of a standard tank to pre-pump, surge pot, bosch044 pump, larger fuel lines through to the malpassi rising rate regulator. Then to a custom fuel rail using 550cc top feed injectors and finally back to the tank using the stock supply line. The cooling system is a new water pump, reconditioned Sigma radiator with a 10 inch thermo fan controlled by the wolf 3D at a comfy 82 degrees. Forced induction from an over driven SC14 delivering high boost down low and all the way through the rev range. The blowers clutch is controlled by the WOLF through throttle position and RPM to deliver power when you need it. All this hot air sees an EVO 4 intercooler which is a must with this roots style blower. The custom EFI manifold has a MX5 throttle body. There is a BOV fitted only as a precaution off throttle in case of an electrical fault. The electrical system has also seen an upgrade with an 85amp alternator charging the system. An electronic distributor is fitted of course. Pacemaker headers to a 2.5inch mandrel system runs under the diff and gives one hell of a bark. Some Figures: 400nm torque 16psi 8:5:1 compression 126rwkw An off boost Dyno saw a peak of 50rwkw so when the SC14 is enabled giving an instant 16psi it literally feels like a 76kw hit of NOS! neil Posted July 5, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 one of these http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/375647821/TOYOTA_cylinder_head_gasket_for_Corolla.html and a little Hylomar should do the trick i have a very talented mate that has done the majority of the fab work including the SC14 bracket and pully tensioner. without a tensioner giving more circumference coverage for the belt it will slip at around 12 psi. unless you put your back into tightening the belt which is probably not a good idea when its strapped to the balancer and you will be back to where you started in about a week when the belt has stretched. speaking from experience of course :bash: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Do you control ignigtion through the wolf with an external ignighter dizzy or is it running fuel only? I loved the sc on mine the sound was awesome and 100rwkw in a ke-11 aint bad either. But gave in to the idea/ball breaking of the shop next door "lets turbo it!!!" so i sold the complete efi and blower setup and now starting from scratch. Keep up the good work. stu. Mitch-12 Posted July 5, 2011 Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 with mine i am using a magna dual hall dizzy bit its optical to trigger the haltech sport 1000 and its ref and sync, so its my cas pretty much and then i have 4 ls1 coils for fully awesome spark :) and 7k efi wish i had some custom stuff and sc14 on a 4k .83 underdriven should be around 12psi i think and a haltech racepak dash will be awesome so i drive untill an alarm comes on on the dash hope i make 100rwhp+ and E85 fuel or if i can't get it in time avgas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
