wagn Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Could someone help me out with the mesurements of a stock ke70 radiator? I'm after the over all length and hight and also the mounting hole spacing across and up and down. If someone has one handy they could mesure that would be great! Quote

Sloth Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 I believe they are different between the sedan and some of the other models. I sold my stock sedan radiator to someone who bolted it in a station wagon (or maybe panel van) and it wasn't wide enough. Quote
wagn Posted July 11, 2011 Author Report Posted July 11, 2011 Sweet thanks a lot man Doesn't matter if its not bolt in as long as its close size wise Quote
Errow Posted Sunday at 11:11 PM Report Posted Sunday at 11:11 PM whats size for electric fan can fit to standard radiator ke70 DX 4K engine? Quote
altezzaclub Posted Monday at 07:36 AM Report Posted Monday at 07:36 AM Anything you can find at a wrecker, or the Australian company that makes fans, Davies Craig. I used a Mazda 121 fan I ran the wiring into the original relay box by the battery and used an empty relay spot. Its controlled both manually and by a temperature switch. That's all in The Girls KE70 story somewhere. Quote
Banjo Posted Monday at 10:35 AM Report Posted Monday at 10:35 AM (edited) Hi Haydn, Another alternative; is to use a aluminium cored radiator, from a later model car, that already has an integral electric fan built in. The aluminium cores are more efficient in transferring heat; & an integral fan, is usually a better option, than adding a fan to an existing to a radiator; particularly if it's one that requires "zip-ties", through the core itself. If you scroll down through the following thread, there are some photos of my "Toyota Echo" radiator mod, to my KE-30 Rolla. https://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/85079-aftermarket-aluminium-radiator-coreshroudfan/#comment-736509 I did it a few years back; & it's one of the better changes I've made. It is so efficient, at removing heat; that the fan rarely comes on. I hooked a pilot light up, on my dash; which shows when the fan is thermostatically switched on; so that's how I know.
