dannyboy86 Posted November 26, 2011 Author Report Posted November 26, 2011 Good to see that it's all cleaned up now :) Anymore plans for this little beauty? Yeah going to get it tinted, because it gets boiling hot inside. Put some decent speakers in it and still tossing up if I should leave the original tape deck in it or not. the only thing is the cassette player doesn't work anymore. Ive always got my eye out for some lowered spring and shocks. If any come around for the right price I would buy some. Thats all I have planned for it for now. Quote
Kid-Ae Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 Do what I should have done and get some coilovers and put them in yourself. For the price they are worth every cent. Stereo wise, thought about a double DIN unit below the heater controls in the storage area? It all bolts into the standard brackets there quite easily and would set it off Love this ride, I can't wait to be back in one of these Quote
Subaru_kid Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 (edited) Those bearings were nasty! mustve been spewing that it happened so soon :glare: Do what I should have done and get some coilovers and put them in yourself. Kid-Ae Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 My point exactly ^ You won't regret it in my opinion, It's what I'm going to do once I get back in one of these Quote

It all bolts into the standard brackets there quite easily and would set it off Love this ride, I can't wait to be back in one of these That's exactly what a few friends have said just go straight to coil overs and don't bother with shocks and springs. I thought about a double din and I was looking into getting a pioneer touch screen dvd head unit. But the only problem is that its quite low the area for the double din and especially with the automatic stick sits up quite high, Oh decisions decisions... Those bearings were nasty! mustve been spewing that it happened so soon :glare: THIS... Actually theyre cheaper than what i got quoted for a new decent set of springs and shocks  :y: Yeah I was pretty pissed that something happened so soon and thought it was going to be a really expensive fix which it wasn't. All in all I'm happy with her and she's running like a dream. Quote
