Rolla__Boy Posted November 26, 2005 Report Posted November 26, 2005 That is the exact reason I don't have a motorbike license. I swing in and out of traffic enough in my car, I would kill myself in a week on a bike Quote
mikeys toy[RL] Posted November 26, 2005 Author Report Posted November 26, 2005 back when i was streetracing, i would always wear a helmet, i would never race with anyone in the car, and i would never indulge in stoplight challenges. where we would do it they blocked off the streets, lined it with rice and we would race until the police showed, then everyone would yell; "50, 50!!" and run to thier cars and go to the next spot, always in business parks where there was no traffic at 3am, and the only people to get hurt were us (and the stupid rice bike dickheads showing off in the middle of a run) ahhhh, i miss those nights i don't really condone streetracing, i got busted, lost the cricket for 30 days, cost $750usd to get her back, had to call mom at 4am to get a money wire for a bus ticket, walk 17 miles to a greyhound bus station, spend 6 days in JAIL, $3,000usd fine, lost my license for 90 days, and my insurance went wayyyy up. (breath) ya i learned....that's when i got into autocross Quote
st.nick Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 Option B for an explaination could also be: These guys were competing in an African Rally. They are usually held on open roads over there, and its not uncommon that there is the odd bus/horse and cart/delivery truck straying onto the route. They don't usually wear helmets in these events eirther... Just a thought. Quote
kangaroosa Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 (edited) motorcyclists who think they are ghostrider, You mean this bloke. TOMsGPTurbo Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 That's pretty scary :jamie: I'm having 2nd thoughts about getting into my mates Audi :D Quote
MissSydneyCruising Posted November 27, 2005 Report Posted November 27, 2005 just on a side note, I know personally of someone who has to wear a stackhat everywhere she goes (like in public etc) because the smallest knock to the head could kill her. its specially lined with heaps of padding. You think about it, walking through the mall some dickhead could knock you to the ground as an accident... that can kill some people. :D Quote
Nitephyre Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 Bang. that was rather silly by the looks.. oh well :D Quote
Super Jamie Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 just on a side note, I know personally of someone who has to wear a stackhat everywhere she goes (like in public etc) because the smallest knock to the head could kill her. its specially lined with heaps of padding. what is that called? like a medical term? i'd like to research it Quote
MissSydneyCruising Posted November 28, 2005 Report Posted November 28, 2005 well my friend in particular it was related to her hearing, she was partially deaf, and any blows to the head could make her more deaf, or send her into enough pain to kill her. I'm not sure what exactly it was, it was quite a while ago when I was smaller. Quote
