So I'm thinking of buying a 3tc and setting up EFI and turbo.It's going into my TE31, 78 5 speed with a T50 trans. Anyone done this? Pics? Problems? Awesomeness?

oh ya, i looked into it, lots of $$$$ needed and mods, i think ill stick with the 2 tc for now. :blush:

You can get a 3TC crankshaft and it'll stroke your 2tc to 1.8. :wink: :wink:

Get a 3T block, and put the 2T-GEU Head, Cams, and Intake Manifold (EFI) on top of it. I believe the 2T-GEU came from the TA22 Celica.

 

Kind of like when people get an RB30 block for their RB26DETT engines for their Nissan Skylines.

 

I have not done this, but I have read these type of conversions on other car forums. :)

Pistons will need to be changed, the 3tc ones are ugly mega bumpy looking things.

Dyno is a mild street tune. There is alot left in there.

It is costly to build but what motor isnt???

 

Ive heard of guys using 2tg intakes And 3tg turbo mani to cut cost, The 2tg intake needs an adaptor plate i think though.
