sharpshane Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 So I'm thinking of buying a 3tc and setting up EFI and turbo. It's going into my TE31, 78 5 speed with a T50 trans. Anyone done this? Pics? Problems? Awesomeness? Quote

sharpshane Posted September 16, 2011 Author Report Posted September 16, 2011 oh ya, i looked into it, lots of $$$$ needed and mods, i think ill stick with the 2 tc for now. Quote
pahl_7 Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 You can get a 3TC crankshaft and it'll stroke your 2tc to 1.8.  Quote
JJT036 Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 (edited) Get a 3T block, and put the 2T-GEU Head, Cams, and Intake Manifold (EFI) on top of it. I believe the 2T-GEU came from the TA22 Celica. Kind of like when people get an RB30 block for their RB26DETT engines for their Nissan Skylines. I have not done this, but I have read these type of conversions on other car forums. :) Josh  Edited December 16, 2011 by ewt Quote

oh what a nissan feeling! Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 Get a 3T block, and put the 2T-GEU Head, Cams, and Intake Manifold (EFI) on top of it. I believe the 2T-GEU came from the TA22 Celica. Pistons will need to be changed, the 3tc ones are ugly mega bumpy looking things. Quote
Des Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 http://www.3tcgarage.com/ http://www.brdracing.com/ Not many people tinker with T series engines on here. More info on 3tcgarage and BRD. My old 3tc with a 32/36 weber and extractors was fun but efi and turbo would be awesome :) Quote

It is costly to build but what motor isnt??? Ive heard of guys using 2tg intakes And 3tg turbo mani to cut cost, The 2tg intake needs an adaptor plate i think though. Hit me up if you need some info Quote
