4Kc Standard Engine Rebuild Kits??

Hi guys,

 

Just having trouble sourcing a rebuild kit for my 4kc here in oz. Wondering if there is any company around that can supply me with rings, mains, big ends, all seals & gaskets for a stock standard freshen up to my little 1.3tr.

 

Preferably here in Oz, as I know there are companies in the US that sell stuff for Starlets, but the amount of hoops you need to jump through & paperwork one company want is ridiculous. Most others don't post international.

 

Any help appreciated

Just hassle your local parts place. Midstate Spares up here in Orange had no problem getting me bearings & gaskets, and they priced rings for me too.

one must ask where you have tried?

 

as pretty much any parts shop will be able to supply rebuild parts.

 

repco, supercheap auto, bursons, autobahn...take your pick.

you can also use their online catalogue. which offers a few more kits, depending if you want pistons etc.

 

make sure you take all your measurements first to ensure you get the right size gear.

Yep, you will find that all the usual retail oulets will order from ACL
