Never really dabbled in the mighty 3k though; Question: are 3K sump gaskets the same as 4k sump gaskets / Are the sumps different on the sealing side(s) ? towe001 Posted December 11, 2011 Report Share Posted December 11, 2011 The 3k and 4k that i have sitting here have different bolt patterns for mounting the sumps. But the 3k i have is an early model (3k-h). The sump pattern could be a bit different on the later model 3k's. I think from memory someone mentioned of using a 3k sump on their 4k in a thread ages a go. And as for binning them i wouldn't do that cause there are a couple of guys on here that use the trusty 3k in their speedway cars. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
