chrisfindlay
I've been thinking of that colour for a while.. $1k? Really?? What is it? 2pac? Acrylic? I got mine custom mixed for $50 a litre in whatever i needed.. Yeah 1k the paint was 600 and the clear was 400 it might not look that good but its strong paint and worth the effort.. Matte grey is bullshit good :)

chrisfindlay
12/5/12: So I just ordered an adjustable Panhard rod, t3 roll center adjusters, and a AJPS drift button for my handbrake, should all be pretty sweet, if it arrives on time.. 13/5/12: Made another order this morning alot of money later.... Also ordered a clear cam gear cover, uni filters for my quads, a carbon fiber coil cover (has no holes in it because I'm running coilpacks) and a HKS timing belt... chrisfindlay
Ok so its finally time to get back into the build, I took my break from work early for my mate Vaughn, so that he could do some extra time, as he had family coming up the same time as my break, so we switched, which led to me now having 20 days off work.. I haven't been home in almost two months.. So today, my first day back I attacked it, but this time I'm finishing this build with a better attitude, as I can now see how close the end of this build is coming, and I am really excited as I finally have the time to get the work done, I also have better skills learnt from mates, and I'm able to get a fair bit of stuff done alone.. First job was to clean my workshop out, with the help of my friend Tom... Tom decided earlier in the day that he woulds spend the day throwing items in the bin, acting like kobe bryant. I some how managed to get the workshop finished but, and here is how it went. Dirty days.. This is how the shop started.. Moved the car out of the workshop, Tom was acting like his usual child self in one of the pictures.. Cleaned the garage out something solid, made a rather large pile of all the stuff I have to install, quite a bit of cash sitting there.. Finished the clean up and put the rolla inside.. Oh haha this would be mums getz, Ive driven it for a bit, haha its pretty fuel efficient and cruisy to drive, I put some 15x8-10 nemoto wheels on it the other day for her as she kept begging me for wheels, it looks pretty funny.. And here is the plan to finish the build.. Install the sun roof,, make custom bumper brackets, install ae71 pedal box, install front carpet, install seats, install boss kit's and steering wheel, install gear stick, get the car mobile tinted by tinta car, darkest legal, install number plate lights, and number plates, tint head lights and tail lights , install fender braces, paint rocker covers, engine bay, paint underside of bonnet, install radiator, install radiator fan, install oil catch can, install new head unit, H.I.D headlight install, install mirrors, throw badges on, order loom, coil packs, and adaptronic ecu from kaizen garage, install Bosch fuel pump, lift pump, hydraulic lines, and surge tank, lock the diff, pick the t50 gear box up from the work shop, pick up my 16v small port with hks 272 8.1mm lift cams, t3 adjustable cam gears, clear cam gear cover, anodized splash guard, anodized throttle trumpets, anodized pulleys, TRD extractors, .5mm trd head gasket, uni filters, Toda lightened fly wheel. Then I got to install that and the gear box with my Exedy hd clutch, and my ae71 tail shaft.. Install adjustable trailing arms and adjustable rear pannard rod. Take it to get an exhaust from fletched at suncoast, it's a twin 2 1/4" get if dyno'd and tuned. Then it's off to get a cut and polish, balance and wheel alignment, Install water pump and tow hook.. New gauges, Then engineering cert, and mod plates for steering wheel, coilovers, seats, boss kit, engine, tailshaft, gearbox. Followed by a roadworthy and rego.... And here is a sneak peak of my engine before painting and the rebuild.. Edited July 31, 2012 by chrisfindlay
