DJM1989 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Sorry to sound like a noob but why do you want to change the setup if it was running fine?
Trev Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 ...and those who voted for Juliar Gilliard have got us forced into ethanol fuel this year unless your local pump has 98octane. Don't use ethanol fuel in two-stroke motors, my head machining shop said. It won't burn quite the same, so compression ratios can all be altered. Ethanol fuel has been taken away from most retailers up here, they reckon it is because of a shortage in sugar cane which sucks cause it is the only thing my ute runs decently on.
altezzaclub Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Mildura will love that! As far as I know they are the only people making the industrial ethanol from cane, so its a monoply for them & they can charge what they like. Its all a scam, without Govt subsidies pouring our taxes into it I'm sure it wouldn't be added. Just think of the CO2 produced burning coal to heat up the feedstock to distill the ethanol off just so we can burn it... madness!
philbey Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 (edited) Isn't this thread better suited to propaganda and hearsay? Edited January 4, 2012 by philbey
Evan G Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 so why rip the engine if it runs soooooo good? Doesn't make sense to me
altezzaclub Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Isn't this thread better suited to propaganda and hearsay? haha- you're right Philbey, but I get carried away sometimes with the amount of BS being forced on us all.
