  1. On the 19th the mg car club is holding a come and try day/ test and tune at mt cotton. More info on there website. Mgccq.org. good thing about it is you don't need a cams license for the day. I will be heading down.

  9. hey guys, I just picked up a pair of xt130 struts and on the tube of the strut it has TOYOTA 2007 stamped on them. I was just wondering what meant? I think it might mean the year it was made or the copyright,not that it worries me just makes me wonder. thank you guys for your help.

  15. hi everyone, i have been building a 4age combo that has a t50 behind it. there a two things left for me to buy. one is a starter motor, does it have to be a ae86 one to fit under the stock headers? we have tryed playing around with a few we had lieing around but it hit on the headers. second item is a salve cylinder i no i can use a ae71, but i noticed at the wreckers that one from a ae82 looks like a close fit? so i wondering if an other salve cylinder of an other rolla would work? as i havent seen to many ae71s lieing around? thanks for the help.
  16. hi people up for sale is my cortina.it's a unfinshed project that i couldnt finish because of the rust, motor:302clevland. gearbox:t5 from a falcon diff:hilux breaks:front/FORD XW-XC DISC HQ-WB HOLDEN CALIPER (C.R.S. KIT) :rear hilux drums carbie:650holley vac secondarys starts and drives the only things i had to to finish it off before the rust was stiffer springs in the front and put a radaitor in it. would suit some one who wants a bolt in conversoin for there cortina price:3k if the car dosent sell i am willing it to strip it for parts for more info call me (daniel) on 0433985333
  17. i find it funny when you say to them you want a ae86 4age waterpump. then they ask what car is it in and you say ke70. then they turn around and say the ke70 dosent have a 4age in them. then you say i no thats why i asked for a ae86 water pump then they look at you silly. all so get the same things at the wreckers then they try and tell you that part wont fit.
  18. hey mate make sure you get a 4age one as they are diffrent to the 4af pumps learnt that the hard way.
  19. the car was tuned for 98 octane fule without ethanol. only reason e10 got use because you can not get fule from bundy without ethanol. what would you do push the car all the way back down brisbane. dosent worrie me i got a free motor out of it
  20. reminds me of the time i was at black duck in the 4runner wich used to burn it like no tomorrow chucked so motorbike oil in it. the smoke smelt like candy.
  21. this is what the motor was n/a 20v bottom end 4afc head big cams carbie was a falcon weber of the old 250xflows and sorry it didnt go bang just died because of shity e10 fule wich bundy only have up there.
  22. the guy pulled of the 20v head and blower and put a 4afe head on it and ran it on carbies. the only reason it went bang was from e10 wich you could only get up north so it leaned out to much and cracked the head and bent the cam's. thats the reason i got it as a short motor. when it was on the dyno it made 230hp and would stop reving at 12k, had some big f#ck off cams in it. but don't no if i should of said that cause i can see it causeing all sorts of comments
