November 28, 201213 yr comment_638116 Hi there Glen great little ride you have there as you probely saw on Thomas ride thread we used kawa900 carbs on his 5k and they work real fine to around 6500revs then start to lean out so we are looking at getting them all rejetted as we beleive there is still more power to gain from his motorheers:- Stuart. but the induction sound is just awesome anyway keep up the good work and we may all catch up on a cruse someday. January 1, 201313 yr Author comment_641874 hey stuart, yeah mine were doing the same at about 5500rpm, just running a standard carb atm, i wanna get the cam reground, head shaved port it and make manifolds to fit some gsx 750 carbs i have and make extractors etc, but at the moment the vt racecar is taking all my time and money haha, i'll get stuck into the rona again in the next few months :y: would love to do a few cruises Report

Not much would fit though! :P My brother's got a spare Nissan CA18 sitting in the shed, but we decided that significant firewall mods would be required... My godfather has a 2.5L V8 that would be perfect, but it's in his rod and he won't let me have it :P Report
