G'day, sorry for no replies for ages haha, the coronas getting there, got some simmons fr wheels, and wacked a tacho in it, my mate got a whole box of gauges for $60 coz a speed shop closed, most of them don't work, but a few do haha :D

hey, haven't done much to it lately, i put a bit stiffer shocks in the front, i put a chrome air cleaner on it so it doesn't look quite as gay haha, iv'e been playing around with my old head that was on my old motor, iv'e ported it even more, and just cleaned it all up, the bike carbs i had on it were overflowing petrol out the air cleaners, but i realized that it was because the carbs are semi down draft, i had the set up as side draft, so when the petrol got up to the top of the bowl it was just coming out the overflow :/ lol, so iv'e fixed that and ill put the head on in a few weeks, i need a new master cylinder coz it leaks and makes the clutch go to the floor sometimes haha, i'm gonna get a 4age one day to put in it, ill run some sort of bike carbs on it, but when i do it i will do it without modifying the car, if possible, cheers

G'day, i couldn't help myself, so i started pulling the head off at 2pm yesterday, i had the other one on and running at 6pm, but it was pissing petrol out, so i gave up for the night, i woke up this morning and realized that i joined the 2 breather lines together :/ so i disconnected them and now she runs sweet, and doesn't leak a drop, i need to give it a bit of a tune but its running ok for now.

just took it for a drive, it ran ok, but gets up to about 5500rpm then stops and goes a bit haha, I'm pretty sure its the springs on the slides, when it idles some of the slides bounce up and down allot, and I'm not sure if its getting enough fuel, ill have a play around anyways, still not bad for the first drive though, i should get the cam ground so it revs a bit harder, ill play with the carbs more first though haha :y:

G'day, iv'e been doing a bit of work on the 12r head, iv'e got it pulled apart, i'll port it when i borrow my mates die grinder, then i'll get it shaved, here's some pics anyway :D
