love ke70 Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 yeah, that's pretty much how it worked, and still does. you'll usually peel over 220kw at the wheels out out most bog stock "206kw" japanese cars released these days still, i have HEARD that the 100 genuine aussie 32GTRs went harder than the jap spec ones. but now we are just talking carpark rumors and "butt dyno" so who really knows? hmm probably no one, i thought that they have now done away with the 206kw rule in japan? st.nick Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 Oops.. My mistake!! But surely it would be an easier conversion than a 6?? And an Atlantic spec 4AGE would be clean off its tits!! Quote
love ke70 Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 I say leave the 6 cylinders for the bogans. in that case I'm proud to be a bogan :) Quote
love ke70 Posted December 29, 2005 Report Posted December 29, 2005 Hehe Well, you're lucky to have picked up a very cheap conversion - someone else has already done all the work. In that case, I say - go with it... And my respect for taking on a project like this. It might not be for a little while yet, but when we both have stupidly powered KE70s - you and I will go to the track and see if those extra two cylinders make any difference :D yes i am very lucky, however its still not easy because A. i know sod all about forced induction and B. i know even less about lpg and methanol injection. all the works been done, but i now have to work out all the wiring inside the car that went with the W.I.J (whatever that is, and it must be switched on according to the sticker) and ill have to sort this wiring and transfer it over....working on wiring when the inside of the car is over 50 degrees fun fun :( :) yeah I'm up for givin u a run, your driving skills will probably prove the difference against me but itl be fun, me and biggo are planning the same thing once his 4agze conversion is planned. is that track/drag day still being planned for qld raceway or somewhere, i read about it somewhere on here for like winter sometime??? love ke70 Posted December 30, 2005 Report Posted December 30, 2005 so he has time to build his car :) oh hold up, this is the sticker job isnt it....oh wow, i am interested, whats the deal? Quote
born_rolla Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 (edited) 3tc can be tuned for higher power then a 2tg, dute to the head on the 2tg not be able to flow as much as a 3tc and the torqes much better from the 3tc through all rev ranges from 2500rpm. you can do burn outs at 1000 rpm go figure that one out?? :locked:?? The 3tc push rods and cons have been knowing to be tuned to handle over 10,000rpm see u get that out of a 2tg.... Edited February 24, 2006 by born_rolla Quote
