Its an awesome build.

Your 4K will never explode. I had one running on 2 cylinders after Red-Lining it on a 1st stand-still. It had barely enough power to idle (or sometimes, Rev), it was backfiring loud enough for me to almost go deaf, but it never died. :yes:

 

I still have this engine (which I'm going to get it rebuilt and worked), but I betcha if I chucked it back in my Corolla, it would still fire up. They just won't die. :)

They're not that hard to blow up, t04e with no boost line in the paddock on a 3k lasted about 20 minutes :lolcry:

This guy was such a clown. GTR on his P plates.

Racing past, overtaking 6 cars at a time on the straights. Generally being a tool.

Couldn't drive for mangoes though.

 

Saying that though, it's surprising how quick the KE70 was through the corners. It darted a lot quicker than my old T18 did!

It's alright, timing's gone so it's just a matter of time before pistons meet valves.

I'd love to do something similar. My old T18 was a self built 3TG.

2TG head on a 3TC block with twin sidedraft solexs. It was beasty. I want to replicate something similar with a carb'd 4AGE.

My timing chain sounds like a racoon running threw a pantry full of pots and pans and it cops 7k revs all day long lol have you got 4age conversion parts sorted?
