muller Posted January 4, 2006 Report Posted January 4, 2006 what would cause a sticking throttle, or is it just that the old rollas are getting arthritus and not working as good as they used too? are they prone to this..condition? Quote
Super Jamie Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 the accelerator cables, especially in ke30s nowadays, are prone to jamming. there's an article in the old faq about it, have a read cafee's ke30 throttle jammed open one day. he braked, locked the fronts and the rears continued to push the car. clutched in and his monster tach flicked to 10500rpm before he killed the ignition. people stuck their heads out of shops and were looking for the motorbike accident :) Quote
Corolla_Kid Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 Holy shit i thought 8000 rpm was good for a k motor. btw how was cafee's motor afterwards? Was anything broken? Quote
