rian Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Looks schmick! What spring rate are you using in the front and how do they ride with the Konis? Quote
Ben-89 Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Those wheels and suspension combo give it tough stance along with the window tint, top marks :2thumbs: Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 I like this, looks very clean. I'm not a *huge* fan of the wheels but they do look tough as! What is that front lip made from? Beige FTWMF! Quote
Willis Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Beige FTWMF! Yes indeed. We need to get a beige cruise going before I paint my car hahaha. BTW, I like the wheels, I think they suit 70's Quote
dbr11k Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 The beige bandit, looking very good indeed although not a fan of the spottys, can't wait to see more progress on this, cheers Dion. Quote
ShowUsYourTints Posted April 21, 2012 Author Report Posted April 21, 2012 Thanks guys. They are AJPS 6kg in the front, and AU Falcon springs in the rear with a modified spring seat to keep the rear springs captive. The konis are great. VERY stiff though, although, that it partly my fault as they are set on the hardest damper. There is very little suspension travel. Getting parts together for a conversion of some sort. Not hugely fussed at the moment, but have found a $500 3RZFE + Hilux 5 speed, so that is very tempting. Not easy to fit though. Cheers, Shazza Quote
ShowUsYourTints Posted April 25, 2012 Author Report Posted April 25, 2012 Wrapped a bit of my interior this morning with matte black vinyl.. Didnt come out too bad. Could be better though. Gettin around those real tight corners isn't easy. I'm planning on doing a bit more of the interior, as I'm over the brown, and the vinyl should look sweet. Pics The bit that is brown will be getting done in the carbon fibre once it arrives. Cheers, Shazza Quote
Ben-89 Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 That looks quite good, atleast it can be reversed if you change your mind as opposed to painting it with vinyl paint. The curved bits would be time consuming to wrap though. Quote
ShowUsYourTints Posted April 25, 2012 Author Report Posted April 25, 2012 Yeah it is time consuming, but it's worth it. Plus, it will protect the dash from cracking. Cheers, Shazza Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) My little console bit I made out of stainless. Edited April 25, 2012 by B.L.Z.BUB Quote
ShowUsYourTints Posted April 25, 2012 Author Report Posted April 25, 2012 That stainless centre came up overrated mate. Looks a treat. Cheers, Shazza Quote
It's_AUDM_Yo Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 That stainless centre came up overrated mate. Looks a treat. Cheers, Shazza :laff: Funny every time. Quote
ShowUsYourTints Posted April 26, 2012 Author Report Posted April 26, 2012 Hahaha. Damn autocorrect? M I N T. Cheers, Shazza Quote
Kid-Ae Posted April 26, 2012 Report Posted April 26, 2012 Such a tidy example! Wheel choice and stance is fantastic for this car! Please don't paint the car a different colour, it looks fantastic in its original paint with the tints. Still going to keep it NA? Quote
