towe001 Posted March 27, 2012 Report Posted March 27, 2012 For the front bumper bar use a ke30 and chop it up so it looks like the same type used on the Mk1 Escort. Little bumperets. 1 Quote

dominating Posted March 29, 2012 Author Report Posted March 29, 2012 Also looked under carby today at extractors and just casually a bolt missing... could this cause damage? don't want to sounds noob but I am lol and whoever did the dodgy paint job tried to drill and screw the trim on then proceeded to use white double sided tape to hold it on. also 3rd picture below what is this and why is both ends unplugged?. Last thing where is a good place to start when cleaning up the engine bay for someone who is just starting? Quote

Jono.C Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 Nah man that bolt missing wont harm it at all, it's just once the two manifold split apart that'll it'll become loud as FCK. Just chuck another bolt in there and you'll be good to go Quote

crispyke35 Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 Extractors are cheap and easy to fit, $200 thereabouts can get them most places. second hand one come up pretty often. Quote
towe001 Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 When you get the extractors fitted make sure they also fit in a flange between the extractors and exhaust. Otherwise you'll live in regret if you ever have to pull the motor out. Quote
