2Tc And 3Tc Pistons The Same?

hey guys

 

i just started striping one of my 3t's and the bores don't look to great defiantly needs a re-bore

 

I'm just after standard compression oversize pistons and i know both the 3t and 2t have 85mm bores standard

 

so does this mean they both take the same pistons?

 

theres alot of "2t" pistons available on ebay and not many "3t"

 

thats the reason why I'm asking..

No the pin height is way different to compensate for the stroke of the crank,

2t pistons on 3tc would poke out the bores and smash the head if installed.
