Were all the required parts missing or were they just not usable?

drivers guard is basicly unusable, drivers door needs repair, drivers seat is missing and the rest is missing

 

when are you coming out this way again???

i have just aquired some parts for my 20

i got a drivers door and front and rear bumpers and i have my 4k and 5 speed

and i also have a shed to work on it in now as well

 

ok parts i know i will need are.........

1, motor, .................sorted

2, gearbox (4 or 5 speed at the moment),.............sorted

3, front and rear bumpers,.................sorted

4, ke55 struts and brakes (or some other brake/suspension/stud upgrade),............sorted

5, possibly drivers door,.........sorted

6, lights (and surrounds),

7, tail lights,

8, grill,

9, matching lock set (ignition, doors and boot),

10, front seats (possibly gti swift or similar),

11, all rubbers (doors, windows, boot, etc)

12, headlining,

13, dash pad,

14, molded carpet,

15, later model diff (matching the front stud pattern),

16, drivers front guard,

not sue whether its any good to you or not, but i have a complete ke70 diff setup out at the olds place you can have if you want it

thanks for the offer but ive got my eyes on a ke20 diff that has the stud pattern conversion already done on it it will save a bit of stuffing around rewelding perches

i finally have my ke20 in my shed at my new place and this is how it sat as of this morning

 

lol you are doing better than me mate i still havent picked mine up yet :D

well i have been a little busy with the 20 and i will let the pics do the talking

and here is some more bits of rust that have been repaired (will get more pics of the repaired parts later)

other than the rust pictured there is some under the radiator support panel and a little bit in the sub frame that is an easy fix and that is about all there is so i will be replacing the entire lower radiator support panel and getting a couple of plates made up to go where the rust is in the sub frame (the rust will be completely cut out and rust converted and new metal welded in

well my air compressor hit puberty today and had a growth spurt

 

 

here is the new section of sill that i replaced

 

 

i got into some wet sanding this afternoon and now this section is as smooth as a babies bum

 

 

this side had a bit of a dent in it (still need some more work done on it yet)

 

 

so i went out to the shed today and decided to do something other than bodywork on the car so i decided to polish the tappet cover

this is what i started with

then after that was done i got back into the bodywork and i now have the entire rear end of it from the doors back in primer ready for some color to go on it
