  • As Reed has said, I use mr muscle but most should work. I spray it on and once the foam has dissipated a bit, give it a brush and a hose off.

A big thanks to COROLLAANDY and PHATKE20S who installed them and dropped heaps of knowledge on me at the same time! :y:

Yeah no worries mate, happy to keep the spirit alive in a few generations :-))

P.S. A bit of advice to anyone doing this dash change..... take the Factory Am/Fm radio out first & throw it away..:-(

A K50 gearbox!

I've been lazy and still haven't got the central locking in yet, the el cheapo ebay kit I bought seemed to have 2 less screws than I needed. Of course I found that out when I had the door cards off :bash:. But I've got enough money to get an exhaust made, so that'll be happening after I fit the extractors.

Rear ones were a perfect fit, I tweaked the front ones ever so slightly and they fitted in great too! Cheers Reed! :y:

Sell people cheap gear, on credit, off my own car, personally deliver them to his front door, and he still finds something to moan about. :P

All good bro, glad you like them. :y:

that colour is good too, I might have to make some more sets up in that colour I think.

Tried to clean up the K50 today too. This was the result after an hour of wire brushing, a can of degreaser and some mild pressure hosing:

There's still some gunk on the bottom, I'll try to finish it off tomorrow. I booked the car in for a service/checkover with an old mechanic friend of my dad on the 14th, hopefully be able to get the K50 in then as well!

Get some oven cleaner onto that gearbox if you want it clean.

I'll give it a go! Any particular way I'd have to do it with oven cleaner? Or just the same "Spray on, Hose off" thing like the degreaser?
