And what the heck is it out of?

Only really guessing but if it is only a twist I would say that it is a dual frequency hazard switch.

He's restoring a 4 door ke20

hey hey hey guys heres specs

 

1. twist one to right and pull = hazard lights blinks

 

2. twist twice to right = can't pull and no change (nothing happens)

 

3. twist thrice to right = can't pull and no change (nothing happens)

 

that's all i know................and this switch is in toyota corolla ke20 :yes:

Hey hey guys......i find the answer,

 

 

Position 01-Parking lights on in left side (only exterior-not indicated in dash board)

 

Position 02-Normally off - when pull- hazard lights on

 

Position 03-Parking lights on in right side (only exterior-not indicated in dash board)

 

Position 04-Parking lights on in both sides (only exterior-not indicated in dash board)

 

 

In my 20,parking lights turn on only in front with this switch.Dnt knw why.may be some prob in wiring.

 

As i know these parking light options not available in dilux model.only available in Hidilux.

 

if I'm wrong ,please correct me.

i knew it was a european thing, maybe shrilanka got this feature back in the day?

 

i reckon that is kinda cool, but not sure what the point of it is.

That particular lighting function is intended for use when you leave the car out overnight on a narrow, unlit street.
