hey, i have a ke70 wagon that i put my old track cars running gear in. was all good had it running for ages then picked up a low km 4age chucked it in the other day and now it cranks but no spark and fuel pump is not priming.

 

any help would be great! :)

Its burned the electronics out. Best to haul it back out & I"ll take it off your hands as a boat anchor.. :D

How and what is your pump hooked up to?

 

Use your dizzy or the one supplied?

Tried both dizzys, no luck. And the pumps wired into a relay that goes into the loom

 

Figure out what power source the relay is using and see if any fuses are blown on it.

Can't find any blown fuses anywhere :/

Did u check that fuel pumps are gettin 12v during cranking?

Stock Toyota's don't "prime" the fuel pumps when u turn to ign, they run on crank and then run for extra couple of seconds after cranking if engine doesn't fire.

 

Get wiring diagrams and diagnose.

sounds like a wiring issue, get a pro out to look at it if you have no clue, also it shouldnt be a fuel pump issue etc because you were running the same one prior to the new motor right ?. try and see if your fuel lines are in the right way (in + out) try diagnose the problem first, when you crank it open the in fuel line see if its getting fuel, if thats the case thats not the issue, then check your spark, and so on. :) is it the same ecu ? or ?

did the motor come with a wiring loom or you using the existing one ?
